After forcing an acquaintance to strip off in public during a Luas stop due to a money argument, the lady sexually assaulted the person and was sentenced to three years in prison, reports Breaking News.
The 49-year-old lady, who will remain anonymous to save the victim’s identity, entered a guilty plea to charges of robbery and sexual assault at a Dublin Luas stop on January 26, 2023, and made her court appearance before Mr. Justice Paul McDermott at the Central Criminal Court on Friday.
A second accused individual will go on trial once he has refuted the allegations, reports Breaking News.
The victim refused to let the co-accused male get into the taxi that night, according to testimony given to the court about how both of the women’s lives had been “blighted by drugs.”
Maurice Coffey SC, the prosecutor, was informed by a local detective that the 38-year-old woman had been found at a Luas stop some time ago, distraught and naked.
The woman told the gardaí that she had been beaten and forced to strip naked after a disagreement over money had resulted in her being dragged from the vehicle by her hair, reports Breaking News.
