It is understood the woman became trapped after the tree fell on top her car on the Clonliffe Road, on Friday morning.
In a post on Twitter Dublin Fire Brigade ssid:This morning, Firefighter/Paramedics from North Strand responded to reports of a car struck by a fallen tree on Clonliffe Road.
Fortunately the driver of the car didn’t require hospital treatment.
The Status Yellow wind warning has been extended to the whole country.
