A woman in her 60s has passed away following a road crash on an Irish road today.
The accident, which involved a car and a truck, happened near Longford Pass in the southbound lane between Junction 4 (Urlingford) and Junction 5 (Two Mile Borris) on the M8 at around 11.30am.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, a male in his 20s, was not seriously injured.
