A woman said she was too “worried” to leave her house because of Covid-19 as she stood in the middle of a main street in a town centre interviewed on live television on Good Morning Britain. In the interview on the streets of Bolton, the anonymous woman said she was afraid to leave home because of the high number of cases of the Indian variant.

Standing in the middle of the city centre, she told reporters: ‘I won’t even leave the house.’ A clip of the interview has since been shared thousands of times on Twitter, as some social media users had a sneaky suspicion that the resident may have left her home.

Social media users were quick to react saying that this just shows the absolutely absurdity of what some people are thinking due to pandemic propaganda.
