Gardaí in Co Limerick have sadly confirmed that a woman aged in her 60s has been killed in a road traffic incident on Friday.
It is understood the woman was killed when the vehicle she was driving veered off the road and collided with a ditch in Ardpartrick, at approximately 3.30pm on Friday afternoon.
Gardaí also say two girls aged 7 and 16 who were passengers in the car, were taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment after they susta minor injuries.
The added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
