A woman is reportedly in a critical condition after being pulled from the water in the River Shannon in Co. Limerick.
It is understood that a passer-by alerted authorities after spotting someone in the water at around 3.30am on Thursday morning in Steamboat Quay, just outside the city limits.
The woman was pulled alive but in a critical condition.
