Authorities in the UK have confirmed that a woman has sadly died after being struck by a police car in Southeast London.
According to Sky News, Scotland Yard have confirmed that a 57-year-old pedestrian sadly passed away in hospital on Friday following the incident which occurred on Thursday afternoon.
It is understood the woman was hit by the car at the Farnborough Common and Crofton Road junction in Orpington, at approximatley 4pm on Thursday.
Scotland Yard say an independent inquiry has been set up to investigate the incident.
