The woman who set up the fake Facebook page that eventually caught Kirean Creaven has said today’s sentence “was a slap on the wrist and it should have been life”.

According to The Daily Record.co.uk, the woman called Christine who is part of the Predator Exposure group, said she was deeply upset by Creaven’s actions over the course investigation which was carried out by the group.

In an interview outside Leeds Crown Court, Christine was brought to tears as she recalled the messages Creaven sent her during his interaction with her whilst she was pretending to be a teenage girl.

Christine told reporters that she thought that Creaven’s sentence should have been a life sentence, given what the court had heard during the trial.

The emotional woman highlighted the fact that Creaven had watched child pornography of an eight year old was more than enough to give him a longer sentence.

Christine added that she couldn’t help but think of her own children during the course of her interaction with Creaven, and then again during his trial.
