The literary world has today lost one of its most famous personalities.
Terry Pratchett, best known for his fantasy novels, including the bestselling ‘Discworld’ series, has passed away aged 66.
The author’s death was confirmed by his publisher, who described him as “one of the brightest, sharpest minds” in the world.
Pratchett died peacefully at his home earlier today. The writer had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease eight years ago.
