Samsung unveiled exceptionally advanced foldable phone in San Francisco last week and the whole mobile technological world has been talking about it since.
But it didn’t take Chinese manufacturer Huawei too long to release their own version.
The Huawei mate x has a 6.6 inch scream and unfold 2 and 8 inch tablet with a glossy OLED display.
The phone will be released sometime in the middle of 2019 and has a price tag of a staggering €2,300.
Many people feel that this price point is utterly ludicrous as it’s much more expensive than tablets and even laptops. The phone itself has 8GB of RAM and 512gb of storage space. This competes with other leading flagship phones but also its price is so high because of their quirky foldability of it.
It’s not yet known whether the phone will be available in Ireland directly but people will still be able to buy it online if they want to fork out that much money for it.
