Met Eireann say today will be another bitterly cold day with temperatures in below 5c nationwide. It will be a mostly dry day with showers generally curtailed to Connaght.
The outlook is for much the same for the weekend with cold weather and showers forecast. The national forecaster claims:
“Today will be a bright and cold day with long dry periods during the day but also with passing showers through Connacht, Ulster and west Munster. Highs of 5 degrees in blustery northwest winds.”
Wrap up well if you’re out and about, the scarves, hats and gloves will be needed by the sound of things!
