Yet another Met Éireann weather warning

nat00_weatherNot the best weather prediction for the people of Ireland today with the morning starting out wet and windy for most of the country, but fear not as brighter weather is to follow later on this afternoon.
Expect sunny spells and just a few scattered showers, particularly along the west coast extending eastwards to all parts this afternoon.

Maximum temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.

Tonight it’s expected to be dry in most areas yet it will be cold and frosty in some areas especially in the north. Minimum temperatures of minus 1 to plus 4 Celsius. Cloud will increase overnight, bringing rain by morning to parts of the west and south. Becoming breezy everywhere, with strengthening southeasterly winds, but milder.

Yellow Wind Alert for – Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry

South to southeast winds will increase 50 to 65 km/h and will gust 90 to 110 km/h later tonight and will veer westerly in the morning. Winds strongest in exposed coastal areas, with the highest gusts expected on the northwest coast.
