The singer Sinead O’Connor went missing yesterday for a number of hours after not returning from a morning bike ride while on holiday in Chicago.
The Nothing Compares 2U singer wrote a lengthy Facebook post hitting out at her family over the incident:
After coming home Sinead took to her Facebook page to hit out at her children and her ex-husband John Reynolds.
Writing “you all abandoned me…you left me to die” in the emotional post, the singer called her son “evil”.
In the post, the singer also discussed her recent financial difficulties.
“I have been unable to work,” she stated.
“I have lost last year’s income and this year’s. I have had enormous medical expenses…”
It is the latest in a series of Facebook posts Sinead has written this year, some hitting out at people in her life and others asking for help.
