The Irish Government advising all Irish citizens to leave Ukraine immediately, fearing that war could break out with Russia.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, any Irish national currently in the country should avail of commercial flights out while there’s still time.
A helpline has been set up at +353 1 4082000 and people are asked to phone this for the best advice in relation to getting out of the country.
