A GoFundMe page has been set up to buy UFC Champion Conor McGregor’s father Tony, a leap card, after a Facebook video of him complaining about the amount of coinage change he received after he bought a Dart ticket with a 20 euro note the Irish Mirror has reported.
The short clip went viral of Mr McGregor after he complained about being given €17.30 change in coins when he bought a train ticket and was dismayed that he did not have anywhere to store the coins in his “slit fit, hand fitted Hugo Boss Suit” McGregor laments in the clip.
In response comedian Emma Doran has now set up a faux fundraising effort be purchase Mr McGregor a leap card, thus eliminating his problem with the coinage change The Sun reported.
The Sun also reported that a spokesperson for Irish Rail said that Mr McGregor should resolve his change by problem by “purchasing a leap card”.
