A child on a pedal bike was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Cork this morning, reports Breaking News.
Garda Carrigaline attended the scene at the Ballinrea roundabout in Carrigaline, Cork Road, which occurred around 9.20pm.
The child was taken from the scene to Cork University Hospital and remains in critical condition, reports Breaking News.
The road was closed for a while but later reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
