Gardai have confirmed that a young child is in critical condition in hospital following a road traffic collision.
It is understood the young girl was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital following a two vehicle collision in Lismaline, Ballingarry, Roscrea, Co Tipperary, at approximately 11:35pm last night.
Gardai say the two drivers and three other passengers were taken to University Hospital Limerick with non life threatening injuries.
They added that an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
