A 20-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital today, after an assault in the Lucan area of Dublin on Friday night.
It is understood that the man suffered head injuries, and had to be rushed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí are asking any witnesses to contact Lucan Garda Station on 01 6667300, or any garda station.
