A 22-year-old man has lost a hand following clashes between police and partygoers in France on Friday night.
At least five police officers were hurt as they broke up an illegal rave party being held at a horse racing track near Redon in Brittany, western France. It is understood that no fewer than 1,500 people were in attendance.
Police moved in as the party broke the 11pm curfew currently in place across France.
