A young man has passed away following a road crash in an Irish county.
The accident, which involved two cars, happened on the R463 in Parteen, Co.Clare, on Friday evening.
A male in his 20s sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. A second male in his late teens was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
