Gardaí in Co Cavan have sadly confirmed that an 18 year old man has died following a road traffic incident 8n the early hours of this morning.
It is believed the young man died after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a another vehicle on the Dublin Road at Kingscourt, at approximately 2am this morning.
It is believed the driver of the second car was uninjured in the collision.
Gardaí say the man’s body has since been transferred to Cavan General Mortuary where a post-mortem will take place later today.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
