Zelensky says he’s willing to take Donald Trump to Ukrainian front line

Amid worries over Republicans’ waning support for the war effort, Volodymyr Zelensky declared he would be happy to accompany US presidential front-runner Donald Trump to the front lines of the conflict in Ukraine, reports Breaking News.

Speaking on Saturday at the Munich Security Conference, the president of Ukraine issued a warning that his nation’s ability to retaliate against Vladimir Putin’s forces is being hindered by a deficiency of long-range weaponry.

“Keeping Ukraine in the artificial deficits of weapons, particularly in deficit of artillery and long range capabilities allows Putin to adapt to the current intensity of the war,” he told those attending, reports Breaking News.

As the anniversary of the invasion approaches two years, Mr. Zelensky used the conference to call on the West to keep supporting the Ukrainian military forces.

However, Republicans who support the previous president Donald Trump have made it known that they are dubious about the financing of the conflict in eastern Europe.

Lord David Cameron, the foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, is also present at the conference and has been one of the European leaders pushing American lawmakers to support a multibillion-dollar foreign aid measure that is passing Congress, reports Breaking News.

He stated on Saturday that support from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union will have a “substantial impact” on the war against Russia.

Despite passing the Senate, the bill now has a very unclear future in the House of Representatives due to opposition from conservative Republicans who support Mr. Trump.

According to Mr. Zelensky, he would be happy to show Mr. Trump the “real” conflict.

“If Mr Trump will come, I am ready to go with him to the frontline,” reports Breaking News.
