ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill has passed away in his sleep aged 72.
The musician was one of the founding members of the legendary rock trio that gave us some iconic hit songs as Gimme all your lovin’, La Grange, Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, and countless others. ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
The cause of death has not been revealed, but it is understood that Hill had recently suffered hip issues. It is not clear if this had any bearing on his passing.
