Emirates Flight EK521, en route from India to Dubai, caught fire after crash landing on Dubai airport earlier today.
The aircraft, a Boeing 777, was carrying 275 people on board. It is understood that all passengers and crew were evacuated successfully.
Early indications point at a possible collapse of the front landing gear, leading to departure from controlled landing and putting the aircraft into a skid along the runway, which in turned led to a blaze.
