A suspected terrorist attack in the Belgian city of Liege has left four people dead, including the attacker.
It is understood that the assailant snatched a police officer’s weapon during a routine check and opened fire, killing two officers and a passer-by. The attacker then took another passer-by as hostage, but was soon killed by anti-terrorist police.
Local sources say that the suspect had been released from prison only yesterday, and that he shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ as he opened fire.
