When we see an ambulance with flashing blue lights our instinct is to pull over and give the driver the right of way but a Manchester ambulance driver went way too far this week.

Mr Blessing Mukaukirwa, who was already disqualified from driving and wanted in court, rocked up to a Manchester ASDA store in an Ambulance complete with blue flashing lights. According to the Metro, Mukaukira was spotted with his family by the police at the ASDA store who all embarked from the ambulance and went shopping.

During the police intervention it was discovered the ambulance which looks identical to a real ambulance was in-fact a decommissioned ambulance. Mukaukirwa was also found to be a disqualified driver and also wanted in court. He was later charged by police and the ambulance was seized.
