Three people have been killed in an overnight crash between a car and a lorry on the N7 near Rathcoole, Dublin.
It’s understood the deceased are all men and were travelling in the car.
The driver of the lorry was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
It’s understood the car was on the wrong side of the northbound carriageway, collided with the lorry that was travelling in the opposite direction at 11.40pm on Wednesday night.
Gardai have opened an internal investigation after the say they had interacted with the car prior to the crash but claim they were not chasing it. They’re asking for witnesses to contact them on 1800 66-61-11.
