A minor was killed after the car he was driving crashed into a truck in an Irish county.
The incident happened on the N21 road near Adare, Co. Limerick at around 2.30am.
The victim, a 12-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Gardai have closed the road, launched an investigation and have appealed for witnesses to contact them, especially if they have dash can footage.
