A 15-yr-old girl has sadly died following a two-car crash in Co Tipperary.
Gardaà and emergency services rushed to the scene at 6.45pm on Thursday after the crash on the R503 at Rearcross.
It’s understood that the girl was a passenger in one of the cars and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination is due to be carried on Friday.
Three other people travelling in the car, a man in his 20s, a woman aged in her 20s and a girl who is aged in her mid-teens were injured and taken to University Hospital Limerick but none have serious injuries.
A woman who was driving the second car was also taken to hospital but her injuries are not deemed life-threatening.
Gardai have the road closed off for a forensic  examination.
