A 19-yr-old man, who was seriously assaulted in Swords on Thursday night has died in hospital, it’s been confirmed.
Marius Mamaliga was left in a critical condition following an alleged assault on Brookdale Avenue and was being treated at Beaumont Hospital since Thursday.
20-yr-old Brandon Gavin, from Brookdale Road in Swords, was remanded in custody with consent to bail on condition he sign on three times a week at Swords Garda station, reports RTE.
He will appear again in court on 1 March charged with assault causing serious harm.
