In breaking news this morning, a man, a woman and a child have been charged in connection to the death of a 5-yr-old boy who was found in a river in South Wales last weekend.
5-yr-old Logan Mwangi’s body was found Saturday morning in the Ogmore River near Pandy Park in Bridgend.
39-yr-old John Cole, of Sarn, Bridgend, 30-yr-old Angharad Williamson, also from Sarn, and a 13-yr-old boy, who cannot for legal reasons, have all been jointly charged with perverting the course of justice.
Police said all three have been remanded into custody and will appear before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Thursday afternoon.
They are all from the Bridgend area. Detectives say they are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident.
It’s not yet confirmed, but it’s believed that the three people arrested were family members of the 5-yr-old boy.
