Fine Gael MEP for the Midlands-North West constituency Colm Markey has announced that he will not bid to hold his seat in the the European Parliament elections in June.
In a statement, Colm Markey announced that will be withdrawing his name from a selection convention which is to take place in Athlone tomorrow.
It adds to 11 Fine Gael TD’s who say they’ll not re running again in the next General Election.
