A boy aged in late teens has been killed in Co Kerry after he was struck by a car.
The incident happened on the R555 at Duagh Village, Listowel, shortly before 10pm.
The teenage boy was seriously injured and rushed to Kerry University Hospital where he later died. A post mortem will take place in today.
It’s understood the driver of the car and three passengers were not injured. All four were females n in their 20s.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Listowel Garda station or the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-111.
