A girl has been killed in a single vehicle accident in Tralee tonight.
The teen was the front passenger of the only car involved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to Kerry University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The rest of the occupants of the car are uninjured.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. m. in Derrymore East.
Gardaí call on all witnesses to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage are requested to be traveling on the main road from Tralee to Camp, particularly Derrymore East, between 4:45pm and 5:30pm, who are available to investigate Gardaí.
