A man in his 20s died tonight after a two-car collision in Kenmare, County Kerry.
The collision occurred around 5:50 p.m. on the N70 near Dromquinna.
The man in the back seat was fatally injured, confirm have confirmed.
His body was transported from the scene to Kerry University Hospital, where an autopsy is scheduled for a later date.
The driver, a woman in her 20s, received medical treatment at the scene, while a male passenger in his 20s was taken to Kerry University Hospital.
The driver of the second car, a woman in her forties, was treated at the scene, as well as a young woman who was traveling as a passenger.
The road is currently closed and forensic experts will investigate the place at dawn.
Local bypasses have been implemented and it is expected to be tomorrow afternoon before the road reopens.
Gardaí call on all witnesses or drivers who may have camera footage to come forward.
