The Department of Health have announced 0 new deaths of people with covid-19 and just 22 people in ICU around the country.
Along with that, they’ve announced 1,345 new cases of the viral flu. However, strikingly, the department of health say that daily case numbers may change over time due to so-called data reviews along with validation and future updates.
The total number of people in hospital is 122 and the number of people in ICU has not changed, standing at just 22 people around the country.
Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has told people to avoid crowds as he claims the Delta variant is rampant in large crowds.
