A major search is underway on Garrettstown, Co Cork where a man aged in his 60s has fallen, injured himself and is missing off a cliff edge near rocks.
It’s understood that the man fell while walking early on Saturday morning and that the coast guard was alerted, along with gardai and paramedics.
When hopefully successfully rescued, the man will.be airlifted to Cork University Hospital.
