Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for strong winds as Storm Barra approaches.
According to the national forecaster, Ireland is in for a few days of severe weather, with strong winds and heavy rain in store.
The warning has been issued from this morning, and will remain in effect until Wednesday at the easliest.
