?BREAKING: Novak Djokovic has his visa cancelled for second time and is potentially out of the Australian Open

Arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, or at least in time he could be awarded that GOAT title, Novak Djokovic has yet again seen his visa cancelled in Australia ahead of the start of Monday’s Australian Open in Melbourne Park.

Novak has chosen to not take the vaccine, which is he fully entitled to do, but was awarded a medical exemption due to having contracted covid back in December.

On Monday, after a huge debacle, his visa was eventually granted, however in Melbourne on Friday, Immigration Minister Alex Hawke used his discretionary powers.

“Today I exercised my power… to cancel the visa held by Mr Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so,” Mr Hawke said in a statement.

“In making this decision, I carefully considered information provided to me by the Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Border Force and Mr Djokovic.

“The Morrison government is firmly committed to protecting Australia’s borders, particularly in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I thank the officers of the Department of Home Affairs and the Australian Border Force who work every day to serve Australia’s interests in increasingly challenging operational environments.”

Mr Djokovic’s lawyers are likely to challenge the latest cancellation in court.

They provided lengthy submissions and supporting documentation to the minister, report 7 News.

It’s going to be a fine line on whether the world number 1 will be allowed play or not.
