The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the 25-yr-old man who murdered David Amess is potentially linked to Islamic extremism and that they’re now treating it as a terrorism incident.

The 69-yr-old father of five was stabbed while he met with public in his constituency.
Police arrested a 25-yr-old man on suspicion of murder after the stabbing at a church in Leigh-on-Sea.
It’s understood that police recovered a knife and were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Mr Amess was a practicing Catholic who did great work for pro life causes in the UK, along with animal welfare and helping to supply fuel to the most vulnerable in society.
