An off-duty police officer was shot in County Tyrone on Wednesday night.
The officer was rushed to hospital with details of his condition initially unknown at that stage but believed to be serious.
The officer was attacked at a sports complex on the Killclogher Road with major emergency service personal at the scene.
The PSNI has said that the officer is in a critical but stable condition this morning. They say they’re going to pursue the attackers until they’re caught.
