Gardai have confirmed that Storm Eunice has claimed the life of a man in Wexford after strong winds downed a tree where he was working. It’s believed he was a council worker, but this hasn’t yet been confirmed by authorities.
A man in his 60s has reportedly been killed after being hit by a falling tree in an Irish county.
The incident happened in Ballythomas, Co. Wexford, this afternoon.
It is understood that the man was clearing debris when the accident occurred.
