?BREAKING: “The situation is now very grim” – Irish health authorities report 106 people in ICU with coronavirus infections

The number of people in ICU is now said to be alarming NHPET into an avenue that no one wants to go down, possible further restrictions in the not too distant future.

They continue to say that no new restrictions are on the table but many feel that they’re not far off even though the vast majority are vaxxed.

Ireland’s CMO Dr Tony Holohan has said that further measures are not being contemplated at the moment and that a so-called Covid-19 circuit breaker is not under discussion at the moment.

Many believe that this sounds ominous as to what’s to come in the upcoming weeks towards Christmas and the New Year however.

Dr Tony Holohan is now said to be extremely concerned as case numbers seem to be skyrocketing again.

Irish health authorities have reported 3,805 new coronavirus infections over the past 24h.

Health authorities have also confirmed that there currently are 582 with severe coronavirus disease across Irish hospitals. It is unclear how many of these were fully vaccinated.

It’s understood that 106 people are in ICU around the country with the HSE boss Paul Reid saying that the situation is now grim as the festive season approaches.
