Remember when it was two weeks to flatten the curve? Remember when 70% of the population was vaccinated that things would go back to normal?
Well none of that is coming out to be worth its name in salt as Professor Luke O’Neill has said that Ireland will need far stronger restrictions if the ICU number goes up much more.
If O’Neill is correct, it would mean that Ireland could face much more stringent measures or even a possible lockdown before we know it.
O’Neill said that if ICU numbers reach 150 then we’ll need much stronger measures enforced than what’s currently happening in society.
Many people are sick of the sight of O’Neill, Tony Holohan and the government at this stage, but if he’s right then we’ll facing more restrictions before we know it.
