🔴BREAKING: Three dead including a baby boy in second Tipperary crash in a week

Three people have sadly been died – including a very young boy – in a single vehicle car crash near Cashel, Co Tipperary on Tuesday evening.

The crash occurred just before 9pm when a car hit a wall in Windmill Knockbulloge.

It’s understood that a man and woman who were rear seat passengers were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The body of a baby boy, who also sadly died in the crash, has been taken to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel.

It’s understood that a man driving the car and a woman who was a front seat passenger have been rushed to hospital where their condition is said to be serious.

Gardaí and other emergency services remain at the scene and the road remains closed with diversions in place. Gardai are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage to contact them.

The crash comes just days after four young people died in a crash in Clonmel, also in Co Tipperary.
