Two men have sad died after a three vehicle accident in Co Meath.
A delivery truck driver, a man aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred around 6:40am on the R152 in Keenogue, Duleek.
The driver of a car, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda where he later died.
No other serious injuries were reported in the collision.
The road has been closed for a technical inspection and there are local detours.
Gardaí appeal to any Witness or anyone who is traveling on the R152 between Kilmoon Cross and Duleek between 6:20am and 6:50am and may have camera images (including a dashcam) to contact Ashbourne Garda Station 01 8010600, the Garda Confidential, contact line 1800 66-61-11 or any station in Garda.
