A girl has died in Windsor when she drowned at an activity park.
The tragic incident took place when the 11-year-old girl was playing with a group of friends and, according to an eyewitness, went under the water and “didn’t come back up”.
Lifeguards tried to find the girl but were unable to do so. A search and rescue was undertaken and she was finally found at 5.10pm. She was taken to hospital but was sadly declared dead at a local hospital.
An investigation is now underway and the police have commended people on the scene who tried to help the little girl. He also expressed his condolences to the child’s family and asked for privacy for them so they could come to terms with their loss.
