Ireland AM host Mark Cagney finished up his last show today with an emotional farewell from the early morning show.
According to the Irish Mirror, it was a sad morning in the Ireland AM studios as Cagney thanked all the people who helped him down the years with the show including fellow hosts, crew and researchers. Some of the co-hosts who he thanked included Alan Hughes, Karen Koster and Ciara Doherty.
A special mention was made by Cagney to Aidan Cooney, who worked on the show until his sudden departure before winter.
All in all, the show was filled with emotional moments for everyone including Cagney who has worked on the show for a massive 20 years and will be sadly missed.
