As cases go up and down seemingly on a daily basis in Ireland, there was much pressure put on the department of health to conduct more testing and have quicker turnaround times.
The HSE confirmed that some 13,000 tests were carried out in Ireland on Friday and that there was a 98% negative rating of those who were tested.
Likewise, the HSE has confirmed that there’s now close to a 2.1 day turnaround from being tested to getting results.
