Video footage has emerged of a 16 year-old girl tied to her alleged rapist and paraded through an Indian village to shame her, reports the Metro. The child and her alleged rapist are both walked through a crowd who beat both the child and the accused.
The child’s family were apparently among those who forced her to walk in the parade whilst crowds of men shouted “long live Mother India”.
The video shows the girl sat down in front of her alleged attacker before one member of the crowd stamps on his head.
When police arrived at the village of Madhya Pradesh, they immediately freed the girl.
